This Privacy Policy describes how Escursioni Sharm (escursioni-sharm.com) processes the personal data of users who visit the site or contact us, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and, for UK users, the UK GDPR.

Data collected and purposes
- Data you provide voluntarily (contact form, email, WhatsApp, phone): name, email address, phone number, travel dates and the content of your message. Purpose: to answer your request and connect you with verified local operators for the chosen excursion. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
- Browsing data: the site is static and does not use its own profiling cookies. Technical browsing data may be processed by the hosting provider for security and operational reasons.
Disclosure to third parties
To handle your booking request, the necessary data (name, contact, excursion, dates) is passed to the local operator providing the service. Escursioni Sharm is not a tour operator: the excursion contract is concluded directly between you and the operator. Data is not sold or passed to other third parties for marketing purposes.
External tools
- FormSubmit — the contact form is managed via the FormSubmit service, which forwards the message to our email.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — clicking the WhatsApp buttons redirects you to the WhatsApp application, which is subject to its own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — typefaces may be loaded from Google's servers.
Retention
Contact data is kept for the time needed to handle your request and any related obligations, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless legal requirements apply.
Your rights
As a data subject you can exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by writing to starthubproject1@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection supervisory authority (for example the ICO in the UK or your national EU authority).
